Do you write but not sing? Male vocalist available…

You’re a very good songwriter, maybe you’re brilliant. But there’s just one thing: you don’t have the greatest singing voice. Maybe pretty good – just not good enough to really sell the GREAT song you’ve just written.

I am a male demo vocalist with many styles under my belt: Rock, Country, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Standards, surf music…you name it.

I will put that finishing touch on your next song, including just the right vocal arrangement.

I have the ability to record at home and send you the files. Payments can be made by money order or through Paypal if it’s needed.

Go to http://www.myspace.com/jonstathammusic for samples of my work.

Feel free to call as well: (310) 882-1967 Jon
Thank you.
Serious inquiries only

Bassist is currently seeking musicians for a variety of projects. I'm a Berklee alumni somewhat new to the San Diego area, and have recently opened a recording studio which is doing well. Additionally, I'm involved with a variety of projects on a performance level, and constantly need musicians for gigs.

I'm looking for Sax, Guitar, and Organ/Piano/Keys players that are looking to involved with recording projects as freelance, hired gun players, and possibly become band members should you like the project. I'm also looking to get my own project off the ground which will be a collaboration of professional level players, seeking paying gigs both on a local and national level. I'm endorsed with Eden Amps, Dean Markley, and Moog, have rehearsal space, studio, things ready to go, just need the players to help collaborate. I have a couple of drummers I'm playing with and love, just need to fill it out with some other interesting, and interested players.

Must have:
-Creativity on your instrument
-Have jazz, blues, funk chops & knowledge
-Be comfortable in recording situations.
-Image - (Looking for marketable players/members)
-MySpace, or similar way to see/hear you online.
-Good attitude, please be semi normal.
-Be familiar with the sounds/styles of groups like Soulive, Sly & Family Stone, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Scofield, Marcus Miller, etc....
-Willing to get to North County, San Diego to either rehearse/record when it comes to that.....

Must NOT have"
-Drug Problems
-Ego
-The need of "a ride man"

Players looking for an outlet?

Family and work taking all your time but you have mad skills wasting away in your room or home studio? Enjoy playing in a band but cringe at the demands of rehearsal, others not being prepared, starry-eyed members, not being able to be yourself and no money for much headache? Then I have a recommendation for you. Join the Tuesday Night Music co-op. (TNMC) No muss no fuss and a good way to get your Jones delt with. I am a guitar playing drummer with serious vocals looking to get with multi-instrumentalists/singers to work on music you like. (Even your own) The only requirements are to be open to everything musically and be good. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy. Everything you require is here. Hope to talk to you soon.

Producer looking for serious bands/artists

My name is Gabe Lehner, I am 29 and have been playing, writing, recording, and producing music since I was 16. I have gotten to the point where I am a very knowledgeable and confident producer with a solid grasp of various key music programs, and I am obsessed with taking music and making it sound awesome. I love and am involved with most all styles of music, but I specialize in producing indie/alt rock(like Radiohead, Coldplay, Beatles, Shins, Arcade Fire....), chill singer/songwriter stuff(like Damien Rice, Nick Drake, Ray Lamontagne.....), hip-hop(many styles of beats, but I am especially influenced by RZA, Hi-Tek, Madlib, and early 90's underground stuff), and electronic music(like Thievery Corporation, Moby, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Tosca.... all styles except super crazy, hard jungle-type stuff). I can do a great job producing any of these styles, but if you write cool, catchy songs, and would like them produced with a very modern, hip, slightly electronic vibe(like Zero 7 or Gorillaz), then I would definitely be the perfect producer for you. I can produce, record, and mix your music for $300/song at my home studio. If you have a bigger budget I can produce your music at another studio of your choice. And I have access to a great team of other professional engineers, players, and a top-of-the-line recording studio in North County where I can get good rates on studio time. I have already produced my band, jack the original, along with Get Back Loretta, Mechanical Cats, Beatniks, Inspired Flight, Metrofique, various hip-hop artists, and I am currently producing a couple of female singer/songwriters. I am very easygoing, down-to-earth, and patient. I have no time for big egos, so ignore this ad if you have one. Contact me if you're interested and I would be happy to show you examples of music I have produced and recorded.

Seeking creative, educated instrumentalists to collaborate and perform with. I am open in terms of musical genre (with some exceptions) as long as it is creative and reasonably intelligent. My background is eclectic and includes somewhat extensive Jazz studies, Blues, Soul, Funk, R&B, Country, Rock etc. All that I ask in those that respond is that you know your instrument and have a practical working knowledge of music theory. (Drummers excepted in the music theory department but still would ask that you have some degree of musical literacy) My philosophy is that you need to know the rules to break the rules or at least know them to be able to justify and communicate what you are doing. Also as age seems to be a concern to many that peruse these listings, I am in my mid 50's, not full of BS nor delusions of grandeur just would like to make some good music with others that know their stuff. North County Only Please.
