When I started working with Gregg, I discovered that not only is he a cool cat and a phenomenal drummer, he is a real teacher. These days it is rare to find an instructor that has true passion for working with students, and Gregg is certainly gifted in this respect.

Since starting with Gregg not even two months ago, my entire approach to the drum kit has changed. He has demonstrated how playing the drum set is an art form, and should be approached with style & grace regardless of how simple or complex of a beat you end up playing. I have been playing the drums since I was 15, I am 32 now. I have been working with Gregg now for 6 months and have decided he is a perfect drum instructor. The first lesson Gregg quickly zoned in on my weak spots, and focused on changing my approach to drumming. With a very orthogonal approach he quickly changed weak spots in my abilities. He found ways to use applied techniques with familiar music to entice re-incorporating rudiments, making them enjoyable to revisit.
