My name is Gabe Lehner, I am 29 and have been playing, writing, recording, and producing music since I was 16. I have gotten to the point where I am a very knowledgeable and confident producer with a solid grasp of various key music programs, and I am obsessed with taking music and making it sound awesome. I love and am involved with most all styles of music, but I specialize in producing indie/alt rock(like Radiohead, Coldplay, Beatles, Shins, Arcade Fire....), chill singer/songwriter stuff(like Damien Rice, Nick Drake, Ray Lamontagne.....), hip-hop(many styles of beats, but I am especially influenced by RZA, Hi-Tek, Madlib, and early 90's underground stuff), and electronic music(like Thievery Corporation, Moby, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Tosca.... all styles except super crazy, hard jungle-type stuff). I can do a great job producing any of these styles, but if you write cool, catchy songs, and would like them produced with a very modern, hip, slightly electronic vibe(like Zero 7 or Gorillaz), then I would definitely be the perfect producer for you. I can produce, record, and mix your music for $300/song at my home studio. If you have a bigger budget I can produce your music at another studio of your choice. And I have access to a great team of other professional engineers, players, and a top-of-the-line recording studio in North County where I can get good rates on studio time. I have already produced my band, jack the original, along with Get Back Loretta, Mechanical Cats, Beatniks, Inspired Flight, Metrofique, various hip-hop artists, and I am currently producing a couple of female singer/songwriters. I am very easygoing, down-to-earth, and patient. I have no time for big egos, so ignore this ad if you have one. Contact me if you're interested and I would be happy to show you examples of music I have produced and recorded.

Four piece modern rock band seeking first class drummer. Great technique and equipment necessary. Backing vocals would be nice but not necessary. We've played all over town and will also be playing up in LA. Possible touring. Tons of press and airplay in San Diego. Recording a new cd, so we're looking for someone who can play to a click in the studio. Influences include Zeppelin, Beatles, Hendrix, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Jellyfish. Hip hop influence in the drum approach. We're not looking for someone who is too straightforward or boring. Power, aggression, authority, versatility and great groove playing will seal the deal. For samples go to:
http://www.metalogicmusic.com http://www.myspace.com/metapunk We will want to hear some samples, so please send links to a MySpace page or some of your music on the web. No drugs. • Location: San Diego area
